A New Way of Conceiving København City Harbour.

The project consists of a plan for 250 dwellings of different size, characteristics and budget, a student residence, public and commercial services and spaces for offices and studios in Christansholm in København Harbour. Some attempts have been made to relink the harbour with the city - it has been successful in a small-scale view but has never made the harbour work as a whole.

The aim of the project is to reincorporate the area into the city by generating a link between the different structures and monuments and by reconnecting the waterfront to the city with new public spaces. Starting on this idea, the project takes form by creating a transition of orientation and shape through the different urban fabrics and new monuments. The approach from this plan scale until the tiniest detail keeps progressively going, emphasizing the city-scale ideas and making the buildings work energyefficiently by thinking with that common sense all the aspects about function, distribution, materials, techniques and form.
